Race and Colorism

In this session, we talk about racism and colorism in different regions of the world. We explore how these contexts affect who we are, how we are perceived, how we relate to each other, and what we can do to advance a more just environment. 

Learning Objectives:

• How and why racism and colorism emerged in different regions of the world 
• How racism and colorism impact the different dimensions of identity (personal, social, and cultural)
• Ways to extend our own lenses and voices to connect with and promote others
