At Ethos, we don’t just advise our clients on how to live out diversity, equity, and inclusion, create belonging, and pursue justice, we also put these ideas into practice every day.
While Ethos officially launched in April of 2018, its true beginning was at the start of 2019. The organization was at a crossroads. Were we going to build Ethos into a firm that would “create the conditions for everyone to thrive at work?” Or, were we going to stay small, focusing on a handful of clients? We opted for the former for a few very important reasons.
We know that our commitment to equity and belonging, in particular, will never be fully realized. We also know that with every new person we invite into our community, we increase our chances of building a better future, one focused on teaching love and scaling belonging.
At Ethos, we commit to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging in the ways we do our work for clients and operate as a workplace every day. This takes on many forms, whether through our ethical research practices, inclusive policies and benefits, resources and guides for supporting different identity groups, free and widely available tools and materials, mutual aid projects, or otherwise.
We give our clients the security to pursue optimism.
