Ethos will assess the member organizations' compensation structures and practices to identify trends and opportunities to adjust existing practices to support pay equity. This option does not cap the number of organizations that may participation. In this collaboration, Ethos will:
- Create a Salary Survey: Key questions will ask member organizations to disclose base pay, overtime pay, incentive pay, and benefits and perks.
- Distribute the Survey: In partnership with the partner team, create messaging around the survey, including how to participate, how information will be used, and when members can expect to receive a more in-depth Compensation Report.
- Analyze and Synthesize the Data with External Benchmarks: Using a combination of CompAnalyst, Council on Foundations, and Candid external data sources and the survey data sources, Ethos will create industry-specific, geography-specific, and headcount-specific benchmarks, as well as analyze the survey data to identify key trends.
- Develop Two Reports with Research and Recommendations: Create two reports, one for all members (a summary) and one for those who participate (a long-form report). Both reports will summarize the compensation factors assessed, results for each factor, and recommendations for remediating any instances of pay inequity or furthering equity across the industry.
